In the early 196Os a French publishing company produced a series of books called "Télé Romans", which translates roughly as "photo novel".  The cover below indicates that this issue, No. 11, appeared on 21 October 1963.  These magazines illustrated popular American television shows of the day in a slightly primitive, grainy photo style, somehow lifted from the videotapes of the period.  As you will see as you scroll through these pages, the faces also appear to have been touched up by artists.
